Emma Powell was born in Colorado and now resides in Los Angeles, she delivers elemental artifacts from clay - using a combination of throwing and hand building. She is influenced by cultures of the past and nature itself, including the outdoors she was raised in. We bear witness to the pleasingly geometric and unsettlingly organic shapes of vessels that rise to be displayed and utilized.
